We have conducted substantial legal analysis of the Brazilian electric energy regulation, including the negotiation and setting up of power generation facilities, power supply, power trading and power distribution contracts. In addition, we have substantial experience in conflict management in this area, having participated in the negotiation and solution of disagreements between market participants.

Electric Energy
Power Purchase Agreements (both in Brazilian free and regulated markets), structuring power generation projects, liaising with various regulatory agents (MME, ANEEL, EPE e ONS); environmental licensing strategy, drafting and negotiation of all the agreements necessary for the construction of the power plants (EPC, O&M, etc), as well as the financing, guarantees and corporate agreements.

Prevention and Consensual Conflict Solutions

Assessment and alignment of different business interests in corporate and contractual settings. Review and structuring of corporate governance rules. Identification and prevention of current and potential conflicts in business relations.
